I just saw this linked by I think Jim Wallace on FB and I just say Thank you, thank you. . I tell people this: Just as God revealed His personal name to Moses as YWVH (I AM), there is also the IT IS. As far as is possible for a finite created being, which I am, I want to know the IT IS. If it turns out the IT IS completely refutes everything I have come to believe and hold dear, why would I want to pretend to believe a lie? I don’t see how I could be any more intellectually, spiritually or philosophically honest than that. But…Having spent over 4 decades diligently searching in myriad schools of thought from myriad different areas of scholastic disciplines including the sciences, philosophical thought and the veracity of the biblical accounts in a number of ways we could explore together…I have concluded biblical Christianity provides the most consistant and rational depiction of how the world actually is. And that doesn’t even begin to touch on the many personal and experiential reasons I have.

Thank you! I really appreciate this comment. I would say that I feel the same way. I have spent years looking at the evidence and have found it overwhelming. Personal experience only confirms it further. However, the honest thing to do is walk away if proven false. Thanks!

Do More Than “Keep Your Cool” in Today’s Heated Topics
Dr. Darrell Bock explains the 3 types of issues in the public square so that Christians can understand and have better cultural engagement. Watch the rest of our discussion on YouTube!
Super excited and honored to be interviewing Dr. Darrell Bock today at 1 pm PT. He’s the director of cultural engagement and senior research professor of the New Testament at @dallasseminary. We will be discussing how Scripture informs our cultural engagement. Check it out! Link in bio
I love leading @maventruth immersive experiences. It is one of my favorite things to do. This time it was @emilyqpauly, Lennox, and myself with 34 students and leaders from Bay Life (Florida) and Southern Hills (Missouri). We had an absolute blast and I loved seeing the students grow in their passion to share the gospel. They studied Scripture, evangelized, worshipped God, and built relationships. They were doing what God created them to do. Is there a better way to spend a week? I think not.
Don’t miss these 2 interviews next week! Darrell Bock & @revalexmcfarland
I love the creativity and thoughtfulness of @emilyqpauly. She bought me and Lennox matching Think Well shirts for Father’s Day! Photo credit goes to her too.
So excited for this new adventure!
