I just saw this linked by I think Jim Wallace on FB and I just say Thank you, thank you. . I tell people this: Just as God revealed His personal name to Moses as YWVH (I AM), there is also the IT IS. As far as is possible for a finite created being, which I am, I want to know the IT IS. If it turns out the IT IS completely refutes everything I have come to believe and hold dear, why would I want to pretend to believe a lie? I don’t see how I could be any more intellectually, spiritually or philosophically honest than that. But…Having spent over 4 decades diligently searching in myriad schools of thought from myriad different areas of scholastic disciplines including the sciences, philosophical thought and the veracity of the biblical accounts in a number of ways we could explore together…I have concluded biblical Christianity provides the most consistant and rational depiction of how the world actually is. And that doesn’t even begin to touch on the many personal and experiential reasons I have.

Thank you! I really appreciate this comment. I would say that I feel the same way. I have spent years looking at the evidence and have found it overwhelming. Personal experience only confirms it further. However, the honest thing to do is walk away if proven false. Thanks!

I can’t believe my 1st doctoral residency is complete. The last two weeks were absolutely incredible and such a rich learning experience. Couldn’t ask for a better group for this three year journey. And a huge shoutout to @emilyqpauly for holding down the fort with the long class days.
1st day of class! This time my mom is not sending me to school, she’s joining me. I don’t think any kids imagine going to school with a parent, but I couldn’t be more excited to be pursuing a doctorate with my mom.
@emilyqpauly surprised me with a pair of custom Think Well vans for my birthday! They will definitely make me speak better at my next event.
Thank you @eastsidehsm for inviting me to speak to your students and parents. It was such a blessing to hear the thoughtful questions from your students and to see the parents’ desire to be intentional in addressing hard questions. Thank you for an incredible night!
Heading to Bend, Oregon to speak at the 2023 Christian Youth Summit. We would love your prayers!
Happy Valentines Day @emilyqpauly! My valentine for the last 6 years. I love you so much and couldn’t imagine life without you. Lennox would say the same in his own way (slobbery kisses). Thank you for loving us both so well and for challenging me to be a better person. Love you!
Pauly, party of 4 coming to you this JULY (or June. you know how it goes, parents)
I couldn’t imagine the joy that times like these would bring, and then it happened. There’s nothing better!
