It is December 23rd, and I hope you all are having a wonderful Christmas season. For my last podcast of the year, I wanted to discuss two different topics.

First, I wanted to give you a tactical response to the problem of evil. What is one way to respond when someone challenges you with the problem of evil? What could you say if someone says that a loving parent would never allow anything bad to happen to their children?

Second, I explain why correct biblical interpretation is so important and then give an example by interpreting Revelation 3:14-22. What does Jesus mean when he says, “I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth”? Is he talking about people who are indifferent or apathetic in their faith? Also, what does verse 20 mean when Jesus says, “Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me”? Is this a call for people to repent and accept Jesus into their hearts?
