In my most recent podcast I discuss the fact that Christianity is an evidential worldview. By that, I mean that Christianity is based on evidence and we should use evidence when necessary in evangelism. Apologists do not use evidence and reason instead of trusting in the Holy Spirit. Apologists believe that the Holy Spirit can use apologetics to bring prople to a knowledge of Christ.

Christian faith is not a “blind leap”. It is not better to ignore evidence and reason so that we can be blessed for believing blindly. Faith is also not believing against the evidence as Richard Dawkins claims. Instead, Christian faith is based on the evidence. It is a trust in Jesus based in His works and the resurrection. Jesus gave many convincing proofs and the writers of the Gospels recorded those miracles “so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the son of God; and that believing you may have life in His name” (John 20:31).
