Two recent conversations have caused me to re-evaluate the moral argument for God’s existence. The first conversation was a recent interview I had with Dr. J. P. Moreland on his new book, Scientism and Secularism. One of his points, which you can hear at the end of the interview, was that we can know some moral truths more confidently than scientific truths.
The second conversation was actually multiple conversations with a group of atheists on Twitter. There were many statements that they made about the moral argument that simply did not characterize the Christian view accurately. This caused me to think about a better way of explaining the moral argument for God’s existence to clear up any confusion. Enjoy!
